TCFF Film Fellows Application
Twin Cities Film Fest is proud to announce the TCFF Film Fellows as a part of the Public Cinema Education Program. This fellowship is designed to educate, motivate, and inspire up-and-coming filmmaking students during the 2017 Twin Cities Film Fest, October 18-28.

General Program Information
Application for the 2017 Twin Cities Film Fest (TCFF) Film Fellows program is now open to any college or post-secondary students studying any aspect of film, film production, or screenwriting. TCFF Film Fellows are expected to attend specific events during the fest, Wednesday, October 18 - Saturday, October 28.

Selected TCFF Film Fellows will have extensive free access to the festival including:
• Invitation to Filmmaker Brunch –Festival Lounge, Saturday, October 21
• Participation in Educational Workshops & Panels – Sat, 10/21, Sun, 10/22, & Sat, 10/28
• Attend Screenings – Pre-selected features, docs, and short blocks at the Showplace ICON Theatre
• Invitation to Industry Night – Festival Lounge – Date – TBD
• Attend TCFF Film Fellows exclusive "meet and greets" with filmmakers
• Invitation to TCFF Closing Night Ceremonies – Festival Lounge
• Awarded a Certificate of Completion for attending all required events

Participation is free to faculty, staff, and students. However, TCFF Film Fellows will have to provide their own transportation, lodging, and most meals.

Application Expectations
This application has a few parts to it. Read below for more information.STUDENTS - You can expect to spend ten minutes completing the form portion of the application. There is also an essay component. You may wish to spend more time on this part as our jury places some weight on the insights shared here. You may return to the form at any time.

FACULTY/STAFF - You can expect to spend five minutes. You may return to the form at any time.

SELECTION OF STUDENTS: Students who participate in the TCFF Film Fellows Program come from a variety of backgrounds. For example, students may be well versed in narrative and/or documentary styles, have great knowledge of film history and production, have limited production experience, have a major/minor in film, or are not majoring in film but have an interest in non-fiction work or the potential use of documentary for social change.
