From awkward first dates to pregnancy loss, TCFF’s Finding My Voice block features eight short films that run the range of human experience. A street performer twists balloon animals for kids. A teen boy in Texas with gynecomastia (aka ""man boobs"") saves up for surgery in an unconventional way. A young woman discovers she’s pregnant and fears how her conservative sister will react. A trans man searching for a safe haven gets stranded in rural Wisconsin. Finding My Voice mixes documentary, silent animation, and narrative shorts to create a compelling collection about the everyday struggles and small joys of life.
