home less Episode 1: The Life

Synopsis

There are those living outside who've fallen on hard times and are trying to obtain housing. Then there are those who make this way of life a lifestyle. "home • less" follows several individuals on the streets of Minneapolis, enduring the frigid winter weather in their encampment known as "North Loop." This is the series premiere. They share what got them here, what their lives are like here, and how they see their existence juxtaposed with the prosperous city residents about them. We meet some of these residents as volunteers who come to the camp, helping with food and supplies—and then learn their perspective on these societal issues. Finally, we learn what the residents of the North Loop encampment believe is necessary to address these difficult issues of poverty and addiction.
