When We Were Old

Synopsis

Kate and Lily, seventeen years old and teetering on the precipice of adulthood, walk home from a party as the sun rises over the East River. Hours later, they wake up at Kate's house, hungover and hungry. They wrestle with subtle pressures on their friendship as they search for a waffle iron in Kate’s basement. Lily inadvertently discovers an old dollhouse, and, through doll play, Lily eventually finds a way to tell Kate about a challenging experience she had with a guy the night before.
