Pablo Kalaka, a muralist form Venezuela, was commissioned to create a mural for for the Barbara Barker Center for Dance in 2019 and I was fortunate enough to be able to follow him as he worked on this piece. I was also fortunate enough to take a look at some of his previous work and have a conversation about his art, life philosophy and future pursuits.
