Twin Cities Film Fest (TCFF) is a 501 ©3 non-profit year-round arts organization focused on activating change in our community through film. Like Tribeca and Sundance, TCFF is a major Midwest film festival that occurs annually in late October every year. The organization is also actively involved in the community through mentorships, internships, volunteer opportunities, production services, networking opportunities, and hosts events year-round such as comedy shows, movie trivia, expos, and more!

TCFF seeks a handful of internships throughout the year as part of its educational programming. Internship areas consist of marketing (including social media), photography, media (production/videography), events, programming, and business management. Marketing & Social Media Intern – Spring 2023

Twin Cities Film Fest (TCFF) is seeking a professional or collegiate level marketing intern for Spring 2023. Internship responsibilities and task will be conducted in a hybrid format, both online and in-person. 

Intern Job Responsibilities:

  • Understands the overall concept of the company, including the brand, customer, product goals, and all other aspects of service.
  • Works closely with the marketing director during internship on various campaigns and projects.
  • Assists in tracking insights and creating monthly insight reports.
  • Creates social media content for TikTok.
  • Schedules content calendar material using Later.
  • Assists in creating refined and effective Google ads.
  • Provide suggestions to the marketing director for improving internal processes.
  • Engages with customers or clients and provides service and/or sales.
  • Attends monthly events to aid in networking and sponsorship opportunities.

Hours & Opportunity

Twin Cities Film Fest is powered by a smaller team of three executive staff members, contract workers (during festival), volunteers, interns, and mentees throughout the year. Week hours can vary Mon-Friday (between 10-5pm), with occasional weekend hours for events (between 2-5 hours). This internship will allow you to build on various skills and expose you to various networking opportunities that may connect you with the right people for other professional opportunities in your career. If you are in your last two years of your degree, this internship may be used for credit as well.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

  • In 3rd or 4th year of college program
  • Recent graduate
  • Prior marketing industry experience
