The 2024 Twin Cities Film Fest is celebrating its 15th year and will take place October 17-26th at Marcus West End Cinema (previously known as ShowPlace ICON Theatres) in St. Louis Park, MN.

Our Series
Films are categorized in several different series.
CHANGEMAKER
This series includes films devoted to addressing a particular topic in the world each year. This year the topic is healthcare disparities. Dive into various films that touch on issues in healthcare such as racial inequality, disproportional morality rate, multigenerational families in farming, over-treatment, misdiagnosis and many more issues we are facing in healthcare.
CODE RED
CODE RED Series is one of our newest series introduced in 2022, containing films devoted to addressing climate change, specifically emotionally eye-opening documentaries. From the coal industry to the depths of the ocean, there is something to be explored within this series that will be impactful and surface the many layers of the world.
HER
HER Series films are made by women, about women, for women to ignite and spread women empowerment not only in the film industry but also world-wide. From the first black Barbie to individual stories of women’s journeys in life – see films about love, loss and everything in-between.
EMPOWER
The EMPOWER Series contains multiple films and documentaries featuring BIPOC filmmakers and content. Immerse yourself and learn about the issues people of color are facing, the extraordinary stories of individual lives, and the triumphs that are taking place as we push forward as a society to achieve equality.
OUT
OUT Series contains dozens of films that feature LGBTQ+ filmmakers and content. Whether you’re looking for a heart-felt documentary about the struggles of coming ‘out’, inequality, or a hilarious comedy, we have it!
BLACK ON SCREEN
BLACK ON SCREEN Series is one of our newer series, premiering in the 2022 Twin Cities Film Fest. This series contains films made by black filmmakers that tell the stories of black lives to empower the black community and close the gap in racial disparities.
MN-Connected
MN-Connected Series is one of our more popular series. These films are either filmed in Minnesota, produced or directed by a native Minnesotan (residency not required) or feature a native Minnesotan actor in a lead role. Check out what MN has been filming!
Festival Lounge
The TCFF Festival Lounge is located across from the Marcus West End Cinema where the 2024 Twin Cities Film Fest will be taking place. Attendees and guests can stop in before or after a film to network, enjoy hosted beverages, snacks, entertainments, music, and more!
