Poetic Justice

Synopsis

POETIC JUSTICE follows women incarcerated at Eddie Warrior Correctional Center in Oklahoma as they participate in restorative writing and creative arts programming. Through poetry, reflection, and shared storytelling, the women begin to uncover the power of their own voices and imagine hope, healing, and transformation within the walls of prison.

Rooted in the belief that everyone has a story worth hearing, the film amplifies voices too often silenced by incarceration and invites audiences to witness the humanity, creativity and resilience of women writing their way toward change.

THEATRICAL SCREENING NOTE: This film is part of the SERIES FEST: UNSCRIPTED BLOCK and will also feature another film titled, NEVER GET BUSTED.
