Yes, their theaters are swanky, and yes their parties are legendary (rubbing elbows with Oscar-winning producers and actors), but the place where TCFF truly sets itself apart is its commitment to helping emerging filmmakers. I received distribution for an early feature directly through their festival, and they’ve connected me with local paid commercial productions as well. The first time one of their festival directors or staff pulls you aside to introduce you to a producer or distributor, you’ll see why TCFF is a festival I never miss.
